Behind RIV Studio
I’ll give you direction without directing the life out of it.
I’m Andrew, the photographer behind RIV Studio. I started by documenting the people closest to me and learned that the photographs we return to are rarely the most perfect ones—they’re the ones that feel true. My approach blends calm guidance with room for real connection, movement and laughter.
We never felt like we had to perform for the camera. Andrew made everything easy and the photos feel completely like us.

You don’t need to arrive knowing how any of this works. Here are the things clients ask most often.
What if we feel awkward in front of the camera?+
That’s completely normal—and exactly what my approach is built for. I’ll give you clear, simple direction and prompts so you always know what to do without feeling stiff or over-posed.
How far in advance should we book?+
Wedding dates are best requested 9–18 months ahead. Portrait sessions can often be arranged within 3–6 weeks, depending on the season.
When will we receive our photographs?+
Portrait galleries are normally delivered within 2–3 weeks. Wedding galleries are normally delivered within 6–8 weeks.
How do payments work?+
After I confirm your date, you’ll receive an agreement and a secure deposit link. The remaining wedding balance is due before the event according to your agreement.
